Every service, for approx. 30 minutes, there is that time where the worship band is up on stage, banging on their drums, strumming on their guitars, and hopefully singing in tune. Generally, this, all by itself, would be entertaining enough, but we believe that if all this is for entertainment, then we might as well pack up and head home -- we wouldn't have been achieving the goal of worship at all!
The book of Psalms is clear about praising God with singing and instruments and we've found that this is an amazing way to express to the Lord our hearts of worship, love, thankfulness, and declare who He is and what He's done. Our Worship Team does a great job of leading us in songs which focus our hearts so that those 30 minutes don't turn into a tradition, but continue to be something that leads us into the glory of the Lord.
